What Did I Like: I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in a teen romance book. What I liked about this one and what made it a bit more different than other young adult romances, was the character went through self discovery rather than looking to find boys or partying. The main character missed out on getting to know her mother’s side of the family most of her life, so spent the weeks she had getting to know them and her history.
What Did I Dislike: There wasn’t much that I didn’t like about the book. I do wish there was a bit more of a background shared while getting to know her family. Some was shared with the character after going through a photo album with Roo, but some wasn’t necessarily shared with the reader. I would say, the romance at the end was a bit predictable so leading up to it would get a bit frustrating, but other than that, it was a really good book to read.
